Ablestik 45LV

Ablestik 45 LV is a versatile, two-part, epoxy adhesive designed for general-purpose assembly, particularly where bonding dissimilar substrates like metal to plastic is required. This low-viscosity variant of Ablestik 45 is engineered to provide excellent surface wetting and flow, ensuring a strong, consistent bond across glass, metals, and various plastics. Its standout feature is its controllable flexibility; by varying the ratio of the black resin to the black catalyst (Loctite Cat 15LV), the final adhesive properties can be tuned to meet specific structural or vibration-dampening needs.

The material offers the convenience of either a room temperature or heat-accelerated cure, making it adaptable to different production environments. It remains electrically non-conductive across all formulations. With a generous working time of up to 120 minutes for a 100g mass, it allows for precision during complex assembly stages while maintaining a steady thermal conductivity of 0.4 W/m-K.
