Stycast U2500

Stycast U 2500 is a two-component, black polyurethane encapsulant designed to be a flexible, low-stress solution.

Its exceptionally low mixed viscosity (6,000 mPa·s) and excellent wettability make it the ideal choice for “complete impregnation”—meaning it can seep deep into the tight spaces of small, slightly wound coils or large, complex castings.

It is widely used for transformers, PCBs, and other insulation applications where the encapsulant must protect the electronics without exerting mechanical stress during thermal cycling. Because it remains flexible even at low temperatures, it prevents the cracking of sensitive solder joints and delicate components.
