Stycast 2851FT

Stycast 2851FT is a high-performance, one-component, epoxy encapsulant. Unlike the other resins in the 2850 series, this “FT” (Flow-Thru) variant is a solvent-free system that requires no mixing of a catalyst, which significantly simplifies the production workflow and eliminates the risk of ratio errors.

It is engineered specifically for the encapsulation of components requiring high heat dissipation and superior thermal shock resistance. Its formulation provides an exceptionally low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE), ensuring that the internal stresses placed on delicate electronic assemblies during temperature fluctuations are kept to an absolute minimum.
