Stycast 1090

Stycast 1090 is a high-performance, low-density syntactic foam epoxy, engineered specifically for the encapsulation and potting of electronic assemblies in the aerospace and satellite industries. By incorporating hollow glass microspheres into the resin matrix, it achieves a density significantly lower than standard epoxies without sacrificing structural integrity.

When paired with Catalyst27-1, this system provides a robust dielectric barrier with an exceptionally low dielectric constant. It is designed for applications where every gram of weight matters, providing superior protection against moisture and chemicals while maintaining high physical strength and a broad operating temperature range of -40 to +175°C.
