While standard encapsulants might crush or deform under the immense weight of the water column, Stycast 1090SI is designed for deep-ocean work. It provides a protective “suit of armour” for sensitive circuitry, ensuring that high compressive stresses do not interfere with electronic operations.

This two-component system features a unique silicone-modified epoxy technology, combining the chemical resistance of epoxies with the resilience needed for subsea deployment.
