Shieldex Conductive Multifilament Yarn 33/10

Shieldex® 33/10 is a highly conductive multifilament yarn offering an electrical resistance of <4k Ω/m.

This Z-twist yarn combines a 99.9% pure silver thread to provide excellent antimicrobial and antistatic performance. The silver acts as a biocidal agent according to EU regulations, making this yarn ideal for the large-scale production of anti-odour garments and electromagnetic shielding textiles. Its round cross-section and 33dtex titre ensure it is easy to knit while maintaining technical efficiency.

Typical usage of this yarn is within the textiles industry where electromagnetic shielding, garment production, or antistatic functions are present in order to achieve OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, REACH, and RoHS compliance.
