Ablestik 60L

Ablestik 60L is a carbon-filled, two-part epoxy adhesive designed for general-purpose bonding applications that require low electrical conductivity.

Unlike silver-filled alternatives, this carbon-based system provides a specific level of resistance, making it suitable for applications where semi-conductive paths are needed with precise resistive properties are not critical. Ablestik 60L demonstrates excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates, ensuring a robust bond in diverse industrial environments.

The material consists of a black resin and an amine-based hardener, which are mixed at a ratio of 100:15 by weight. Engineered for user convenience, with a one-hour work life for a 100g mass and the flexibility of either a 24-hour room temperature cure or a rapid 30-minute heat cure at 100°C. With a thermal conductivity of 1.2 W/m-K, it also serves as an effective thermal bridge, dissipating heat while maintaining its resistive electrical profile.
