HITEK Electronic Materials Limited. was founded in 1985 by Ed Nixon and Reg Shuttleworth in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. Setting off on the mission to provide solutions to protecting electronics with specialised quality systems and excellent technical knowledge.
Now, with more than 40 years of experience in manufacturing and distribution, we have built a strong reputation as a trusted global partner within the electronics industry for EMI and RF interference shielding. Our longevity reflects a consistent commitment to quality, reliability, and innovation, enabling us to support customers across a wide range of applications with confidence and expertise.
As of 03/03/2026, HITEK have joined the Aeromed group launching a brand-new era for the company. This acquisition builds on HITEK’s strengths within the UK market as we continue to provide our solutions.

Starting his career at HITEK as a Senior Accounts Clerk, Richard has spent the last 20 years as a member of our Finance team, working his way up to Financial Director in 2021. With an AAT level 4 diploma in Accounting, Richard provides not only his financial skills but computing and technical knowledge.

Having worked in the Costing Department for nearly nine years—four of those as the department manager—it was a natural transition for them to step into the BDM role for HITEK. They bring to the position nearly two decades of extensive product, customer, and industry knowledge.
