Oil-Based VpCI's

Oil-based corrosion protection that can be used in a variety of applications.

Oil-based VpCI's offer environmentally friendly solutions for protecting integral parts and systems. They can be applied to ferrous and non-ferrous metals, are safe to use and provide ease of application.

Oil-based vapour phase corrosion inhibitors provide superior corrosion protection, can be used in adverse conditions and in a multitude of applications. Please consider the following materials: 

VpCI-323 is an oil-based concentrate which offers vapour phase corrosion inhibition and is suited for use in conjunction with working engine systems.  It provides a film which adheres firmly to metal surfaces whilst emitting a corrosion inhibiting vapour into the air above the oil; these vapours attach electrochemically to the metals surface forming a protective barrier and resulting in complete protection for the system. VpCI-323 can be used in either outdoor or indoor environments and typical applications include tanks, gearboxes, differential and working engines.

VpCI-325 is a vegetable oil/solvent based liquid, which offers excellent lubrications and provides general purpose protection against corrosion for a multitude of applications. It provides a film which adheres firmly to metal surfaces whilst emitting a corrosion inhibiting vapour into the air above the oil; these vapours condense onto metal surfaces which aren't in contact with the oil forming a protective barrier and resulting in complete protection for the system. VpCI is based on a biodegradable oil, it is environmentally friendly, safe and convenient to use and can be applied to items such as sheet metals, wire, pipes, flanges, machined-parts and guns. It protects against chlorides, hydrogen sulfide and other sulfur compounds (even whilst undergoing adverse conditions such as 100% relative humidity).

VpCI-329 is an oil based concentrate which inhibits corrosion and used in conjunction with lubricating, hydraulic and preservation oils. It provides a film which adheres firmly to metal surfaces whilst emitting a corrosion inhibiting vapour into the air above the oil; these vapours condense onto metal surfaces which aren't in contact with the oil forming a protective barrier and resulting in complete protection for the system. VpCI 329 protects ferrous and non ferrous metals such as aluminium, silver, copper and zinc. It is ideally suited for sheltered outdoor/indoor conditions. Dependent upon the method of application - i.e. the ratio of VpCI-329 to oil - VpCI-329 can be used for short-term, medium and long-term protection.

VpCI 369 is an anti-corrosion additive that is compatible and can be diluted with a variety of oils, waxes or solvents; it provides superior corrosion resistance via contact and vapour phase protection. When added to oils and waxes M-369 will form a self-repairing, moisture-displacing barrier film. VpCI M-369 provides outstanding long-term protection in humid and salt-containing environments, it is ideal for aggressive corrosive environments. VpCI-369 will provide continuous protection in storage, transit, moth-balling and work-in-progress applications.
