Corrosion Protection Tooling

Significant amounts of company assets in the manufacturing sector are often in the form of expensive tooling, jigs fixtures and other machinery that is used intermittently, or infrequently, or is so large the only place to store it is outside.

When it comes to using these items after a period of storage the item quite often has to be cleaned up and reconditioned prior to being put into operation.

Typically used for items such as injection mould tooling, large jigs, and other high value production equipment these solutions guarantee corrosion free storage.

Corshield™ *	- use for reusable long-term tool storage can include zip and Velcro closures, flock lining for protection of fine or painted surfaces. Protects also from UV
Ecoweave™ *	- similar to the above but made from HDPE
Corrlam™ *	- heat sealable foil barrier laminate for total long term multimetal storage, combines CORTEC’s VCI 126 film with a foil laminate with prevents moisture ingress
VpCI 126 *	- the lowest cost multimetal protecting film also available now in a 100% biodegradable version. Heat sealable and available in ziplok bags
VpCI 416 *	- Cleaner degreaser for washdown prior to storage contains VpCI’s for immediate protection water dilutable up to 50:1
VpCI 325 *	- for lubrication of mechanical linkages and moving parts soya based biodegradable oil.
VpCI 389D *	- water based waxed coating can be sprayed on large items give up to 5 years protection outside
VpCI 368 *	- solvent based wax coating with water displacing capabilities, give up to 5 years protection
VpCI 238 *	- spray for protecting electronic components, connectors and assemblies
VpCI 239 *	- outdoor version of VCI 238
VpCI 130 *	- series of foams that can be used to enhance protection in large pieces of equipment and physically protect tool faces
