HITEK Electronic Materials Ltd have been appointed by TECAN Components Ltd to distribute the new range of Standard Cans for EMC, and the TECSHIELD range of prototyping materials. TECAN Components Ltd have developed the Standard Can range to offer industry a range of cans based on a standard pitch system which allows engineers to quickly solve EMI problems without costly tooling and long lead times.
The Standard Can range comprises five different options:-
SA-4SFL 4 Sided can with a spring fingered lid
SA-4PFL 4 Sided can with plain folded lid
SA-5F 5 Sided with corner flaps
SF-5B 5 Sided can with butted corners
SA-4S2FL 4 Sided can with two spring finger lids
Each can comes in a range of sizes from 20mm by 20mm to 125mm by 75mm..
The TECSHIELD range is an "on the bench" modelling system developed to enable RFI/EMI development engineers to prototype shielding cans, fences and lids quickly and easily. More importantly, the electronic performance or the "shielding effectiveness" will be closer to a custom manufactured can when compared to traditional "modelling" techniques. The TECSHIELD provides a professional and cost effective method to evaluate a solution.
The TECSHIELD range comprises the following parts:-
TECSHIELD 40 Can and Lid prototyping
TECSHIELD 40 plus Ventilated Can and Lid prototyping
TECWALL 40 Fence and Wall prototyping
TECPACK 40 Comprises parts of the three above
The TECSHIELD 40 range is supplied in 370mm by 280mm sheets, TECSHIELD 40 and TECSHIELD 40 plus have 51 by 66 squares @ 0.2" (0,5mm) pitch
