Shieldex Trading GmbH is the trading arm of Statex GmbH, a world leader in the supply of conductive fabrics and materials. Based in Palmyra, NY, Shieldex Trading GmbH has an extensive range of fabrics and yarns in a wide range of combinations including silver, silver/carbon, tin/copper, nickel/copper, nickel/silver, copper and aluminium foils.

These fabrics and yarns have many uses including such applications as in architectural shielding, conductive clothing, conductive enclosures etc and can be used where unobtrusive shielding must be used. ne such product is the "Magic Sheet" which can be used by Test Houses to quickly assess where particular problems in an installation are causing EMI, and "Magic Pockets" which allow users to carry sensitive electronic items without interference. Other applications can include "scent blocking" and medical clothing and wound dressing where the anti-microbial properties of pure silver can be utilised.

Available in bulk sheet form or fabricated to customers exact requirements, these fabrics are very abrasion resistant and certain of them come with UL94 V0 rated backings.
