Graffiti Removal
HITEK supplies two products for the removal of graffiti from metal, wood, concrete, and plastic surfaces. These highly effective but environmentally friendly products.
VpCI432/433 PDF* - Graffiti Remover Heavy-duty liquid removes, inks and paints from metal, wood and concrete. This low odor cleaner is non-flammable and free of methylene chloride and ketones.
The above photos are of a garage door that was cleaned of graffiti. Typical removal times are in the region of 3 to 30 minutes depending on the type of paint and surface.
The surface should be cleaned thoroughly of dirt and grease prior to graffiti removal with one of the CORTEC water-based cleaners such as VpCI 416 PDF*.
Then apply the 432 or 433 with a brush or spray on the surface to be cleaned. Monitor the softening of the paint, then remove the material by washing or wiping
Finish off with final rinse of VpCI 416 PDF*.
