Military window applications offer an number of challenges not least the fact that the window invariably is required to survive extremes of heat, humidity, mechanical shock and still provide the necessary levels of shielding and optical performance.
HITEK offers a range of EMI shielding windows in a variety of materials. These materials include polyester, glass, polycarbonate, and acrylic. The construction of most of the windows is a laminate allowing for custom production of both the thickness and the light transmission qualities. So for example a contrast enhancement filter or a circular polariser can be easily incorporated to the construction.
