Eeonyx Corporation has developed a line of conductive polymer coatings that can be applied to fabrics, felts, foams, films, powders and plastic parts over a large range of tuneable resistances. Materials of almost any composition, including silicones, polyolefin’s and fluoropolymers can be made conductive by the Eeonyx proprietary process. EeonTex™ fabrics are lightly coloured, totally uniformly conductive fabrics that possess excellent resistance to heat, humidity, UV radiation, sloughing, cleanroom/ordinary laundering.
The use of EeonTex™ fabric in biomedical instruments, sensors, antennae, resistive heaters, static control, cleanrooms, automobiles, and military related applications is possible given the range of fabrics and resistances available.
Coating conductive polymers onto powdered carbonaceous substrates leads to conductive additives called EeonomersR that possess excellent thermal stability, advanced electrical properties and superior blending characteristics. Applications of EeonomersR in electronics packaging can have significant advantages.
New EeonFoam™ lossy foams are open cell polyurethane foams coated with conductive polymer coatings. These foams can have applications in damping cavity resonances, EMI suppression and static dissipation.
