Commercial EMC Fabrics

HITEK supplies a range of conductive Shieldex fabrics in addition to the Cho-Fab and Cho-Foil products from Chomerics. These fabrics have a multitude of uses from architectural shielding of rooms and shelters, temporary shielding tents, collapsing antenna reflectors to name but a few.

The foils are generally used for sealing seams in structures and equipment and providing landing areas for gaskets. A specific form of foil know as Cho-Mask has been specifically developed for this purpose.

Also in the range is a fabric designed to reduce Infra-red signatures of equipment and personnel.

Some of the fabrics come with adhesive backing which make them ideal for assembly into electronic equipment. Subsequent recycling of the equipment is improved as the fabric can be easily removed from the substrate.

The fabric are typically supplied in log rolls and can be slit to specific widths if necessary.
