Commercial Conductive Elastomers

There are several conductive elastomers that can be considered suitable for commercial applications these are:

• Cho-Seal 1273 PDF* - Silver-plated copper in silicone
• Cho-Seal S6305 PDF* - Nickel-plated graphite in Silicone
• Cho-Seal 6370 PDF* - Nickel-plated graphite in flame retardant silicone (UL 94-V0)
• Cho-Seal 1350 PDF* - Silver-plated glass in Silicone
• Cho-Sil 1356 PDF* - Silver-plated glass in reticular silicone
• Clip-shield™ PDF* - Flame Retardant Clip-on UL94-V0 Elastomer EMC Door Gasket

The elastomers are classed a commercial as they are not manufactured to meet the Mil-G-83528 standard. In all but the first case there is no Mil-G-83528 listing for the type of filler used. The Cho-Seal 1273 material is very similar to the Cho-Seal 1215 material except for the fact that it is made to slightly wider and lower specification tolerances, as well as not undergoing the Mil-G-83528 quality control tests.
